A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 4 “Florida Gators” PE

PE Jordans have long captured the attention of collectors, inherently ultra-limited pairs of retros that you can only hope to get your hands on with serious connections or a serious bankroll. As packages go out to some of the brand’s cadre of schools for 2025, the “First Class” Jordan 4 build has loomed large, flipped into many of the university’s trademark colors like on the Air Jordan 4 “Florida Gators” PE at hand.

The ultra-premium touches that defined said WNBA exclusive remain for this composition, with ostrich leather on the mudguard, tongue and tongue tag easily the highlight. However, these new angles reveal some never-before-seen details; an argyle/crosshatch insole furthers the luxe air, while an interior “4BITS” tongue tag harkens to Florida’s Mr. Two Bits chant, a venerated gameday tradition. The lattermost aspect especially holds weight given the otherwise understated approach to school ties here — outside of some select orange hits and a gilded hangtag, the fact that this Air Jordan 4 was built for the Florida Gators could fly under the radar at first glance.

Again, if it needs repeating, the Air Jordan 4 “Florida Gators” won’t be seeing a public release, with only UoF athletes and staff getting their hands on them. Catch detailed in-hand images ahead.
