The Air Jordan 1 Mid Wears Cracked Leather For Valentine’s Day

No end in sight for Nike, Inc.'s romantic offerings.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid Wears Cracked Leather For Valentine’s Day

As we careen towards the biggest drops on the Nike Valentine’s Day 2025 slate, it feels like each one that comes off the board is replaced by another just days later. To that end, a new Air Jordan 1 Mid for the holiday has already hit the shelves, and a fresh one is already set to take its place.

The cracked leather collar and Swoosh seen in the lead image are unquestionably the standout pieces of design here, one that should read as familiar in the wake of the “Lost & Found” (soon to be reprised via the Jordan 1 “UNC Reimagined.”) Metallic finishes in that section harken to the foil balloons similarly referenced on the Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day,” alternatively carrying a real red-hot atmosphere when paired with the fire red overlays that take over the rest of the shoe.

While easily digestible at first glance, the finer details of this pair truly set it above the level of a typical GR Air Jordan 1 Mid, making it deserving of the “Valentine’s Day” billing. Many of its peers have appeared suddenly via Nike.com rather than landing on telegraphed dates — keep our Jordan Release Dates 2025 landing page handy to know when this one arrives. Expect a $125 MSRP and women’s sizing once it does.
