Andrew Rizzo The current wave of Nike ACG retros has been a big hit among fans of the outdoor sub-brand, but beyond that, models like the Torre, Rufus, and Izy have only strengthened Nike’s appeal to those embracing the larger “gorpcore” trend. The ACG Izy was the last of those three models to return, releasing in only three brown colorways since its Holiday 2024 rebirth. Now Nike is going beyond earth tones with a “Photon Dust” colorway for Spring/Summer 2025, shown here via official images.
Titular “Photon Dust” suede makes up the entire moccasin-inspired upper, giving way to “Smoke Grey/Anthracite” treatments on the lining and midsole (which is the same as that of the ACG Rufus). The heel portion of the outsole hosts a retro “Hot Curry” ACG logo, as is standard, and the insoles feature vintage “All Conditions Gear” text.
The ACG Izy was originally designed for camping and light hiking, but Nike is hoping you’ll make the model a go-to for quick trips outside the house. It’s comfortable, on-trend, and can be easily slipped on and off due its zipper enclosure.
The “Photon Dust” ACG Izy will release Spring/Summer 2025 via Nike SNKRS and boutiques, carrying a retail price of $130. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
