Nike Combines Fire And Ice On The Zoom Vomero 5

Another strong colorway for the trending mesh runner.

Nike Combines Fire And Ice On The Zoom Vomero 5

Every time a model becomes popular, the responsible sneaker brand ramps up production and “new” colorways eventually start blending in with the rest (see the Nike Dunk). The Vomero 5 hasn’t entirely avoided that kind of criticism, but as long as Nike keeps pumping out eyebrow-raisers like this, we’re not expecting to hear cries of “oversaturation” any time soon.

Three colors engross the entirety of the mesh runner; “Armory Navy,” “Team Red,” and “Glacier Blue.” The tongue, Swoosh, heel counter, and portions of the midsole make use of the fiery “Team Red” color, while the rest of the design favors an icy blue combination. Reflective treatments appear on the overlays, mainly around the quarter, and Bowerman Series branding makes its usual appearance on the insoles.

The “Armory Navy/Team Red/Glacier Blue” Vomero 5 retails for $160 and will be available in men’s sizing, likely during the Spring/Summer 2025 shopping season. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more pairs by the Swoosh.
