EXCLUSIVE: Nike Air Max CB 34 “Godzilla” Returning Holiday 2025

In the early 1990’s, Nike’s genius advertising department pitted Charles Barkley against the one-and-only Godzilla, the colossal prehistoric lizard monster, as part of the campaign for his line of footwear. Now, the Nike Barkleys bearing that nickname, the Air Max CB 34, is due out for Holiday 2025.

Sneaker News confirms that the Air Max CB 34 “Godzilla” is indeed set to release again during the final quarter of the year with an MSRP of $150. The original colorway of black/white/purple is expected, with new styles and retros to follow.

Nike last released the Air Max CB 34 in 2016; they were met with huge fanfare among early 1990s era Nike Basketball fans, and given Barkley’s ongoing relevance within the game of basketball and the larger picture of pop culture, there’s never a wrong time to bring back some Nike Barkley shoes.

Below is an official images gallery of that most recent version, but you can expect the 2025 Godzilla Barkleys to look pretty much the same as the SKU has remained consistent with the 2016 version.
