Brooks Enlists Staple To Relaunch Their Techy Adrenaline GTS 4

Brooks Enlists Staple To Relaunch Their Techy Adrenaline GTS 4

Don’t sleep on Brooks. Some ten years ago during the suede runner renaissance, the Washington brand was a consistent presence as a sleeper option in the suede runner lane, minting collaborations with imprints like Concepts and BAIT to further that crossover appeal. Now, with Y2K principles at the forefront of footwear, the brand is stepping into the arena once again, as Brooks is relaunching the Adrenaline GTS 4 with an assist from Jeff Staple.

Like other retro runners of its class, the Adrenaline GTS 4 returns true to its original specs from 2002. Staying consistent to the shoe’s composition means that the mesh foundation, criss-crossing leather overlays and chunky sole unit emerge on-trend compared to others of its class. For Jeff Staple and his brands’ part, they bring vibrant pops of fire red on top of a neutrally-toned base, evident on the outsole traction and the Brooks branding at the quarter. Speaking of, the indomitable Pigeon logo makes select appearances as well, driving home the collaborative atmosphere at the tongue, on the insole and with a ribbon running down the lace unit.

The Staple Brooks Adrenaline GTS 4 releases on March 13th via the Brooks site and via STAPLE NYC in-store, retailing at $175. The retro effort for the Adrenaline GTS 4 continues with inline colorways kicks off on March 27th, set to drop via those same Brooks channels.
