adidas’ IIInfinity series has been the Three Stripes’ lasting testament to the legacy of the Black Mamba. Though only residing in the halls at Herzogenaurach for a brief period, the chunky principles of the Crazy 2 and its ilk have been spun off into the IIInfinity line in recent years, marking its most recent entry with the Nova IIInfinity, now emerging in classic “Cloud White.”

Pushing the seeds of the Kobe line isn’t just a design language issue for the Three Stripes. As executed with the IIInfinity Nova, it also means bringing the DNA of Bryant’s signature line off-the-court; you’ll note that no marketing materials for the silhouette include any references to basketball, instead positioned as a bulky daily driver. The “Cloud White” colorway at hand certainly makes good on that promise, blending together multiple snowy shades through the mesh and nubuck upper, with eye-catching notes of “Pure Ruby” and icy blue popping throughout the profile and on the outsole. ”
