Devin Booker Remembers 70 Point Game With Nike Book 1 PE Inspired By His Hyperdunks

On the night of March 24th, 2017, Devin Booker joined a very exclusive group of bucket-getters by dropping a 70-piece on the Boston Celtics, becoming (at the time) just the sixth player in NBA history to score 70 points in a game. On the eighth anniversary of that epic night, Booker looks back at his special performance with a Nike Book 1 PE inspired by the Hyperdunks he laced up for that epic performance.

Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Low Devin Booker 70 Points

Frequently going the PE-of-a-PE route, this latest Book 1 mimics the simple black/orange colorway of his Hyperdunk 2016 Low while placing an extra orange Swoosh above the heel. Text add-ons note “70” on the pull-tab as well as the official date of that game. The standard Swoosh on the actual shoe remains black to blend in, while Booker’s old PE logo returns on the tongue.

What’s crazy about his scoring feat was that he wasn’t even of legal drinking age, making him the youngest ever to hit the 70 mark. Booker wouldn’t stop his scoring ways as he grew into one of the most dangerous offensive talents since then, steadily 25+ per game while sharing the rock with other high-usage players like Kevin Durant and Chris Paul.

Like all of Devin’s Player Exclusives, this Book 1 will on hit the retail shelves at any capacity.
