The question of when Nike will slow production of “core product” is one that’s hummed like background radiation behind all of our Swoosh coverage in the past year and change. Until confirmation of the change comes about, it’ll continue to be an undertone for models like the Air Force 1 Low, now greeting another warm weather colorway in “Oil Green.”

In broad strokes, the upper of this shoe keeps to the two-tone standard established in more than a decade of AF1 colorways, utilizing the titular shade on the topmost overlays and pure white leather underneath it. Where this shoe breaks convention a bit is in the outsole, opting to maintain the snowy shades from the midsole rather than joining back up with the viridescent accent shades as usual pairs would. While aesthetically helping this shoe stand apart from the pack, it also helps to highlight the speckled “grind sole” features, the most visible indiciation of the Next Nature construction on hand.

Expect the Nike Air Force 1 Low Next Nature “Oil Green” hitting Nike.com and partnering retailers in time for Summer 2025, retailing for $115 in women’s sizing.
