The Nike Pegasus Premium Goes Dark In “Anthracite”

After a near-viral moment last April, the Nike Pegasus Premium finally launched to market in January of 2025 to a sold-out crowd. This was an important case study for Nike to analyze just how strong product alone can drive hype and reposition the sails of a brand’s trajectory.

With one full season under its belt, the Pegasus Premium has since dropped in several new colorways, appealing to both the core runners and the Swoosh-heads who don’t hesitate to wear performance footwear as daily beaters. Nike has been on the more reserved end with the colorways as the succeeding pairs haven’t quite captured the audience like the high-contrast grey/orange pair did; this new Anthracite colorway stick to one overall vibe thanks to the Ashen Slate and Football Grey, leaving us yearning for just a bit more pop. Perhaps a volt-colored Zoom unit would’ve done the trick, but we digress.

If you’re keen on this Pegasus Premium, this men’s exclusive colorway is hitting Nike.com and running retailers this Summer 2025 for $210.
