EXCLUSIVE: Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Bred” Expected To Return Holiday 2025

One of 2025’s most important sneaker releases to date is circling the block later this year. February’s release of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Bred” is indeed returning this Holiday 2025 season, possibly on the annual “Banned Day” celebration on October 18th, 2025.

The Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 is the most true-to-the-original retro release of the notorious Air Jordan shoe from 1985. Touting a meticulous reverse-engineering process, Jordan Brand was able to re-create the specifications of the original pairs. In North America, just 23 stores released the shoes with a $250 MSRP, making it one of the toughest shoes to cop at retail. For that February release, a rumored 10,000 pairs hit the public after a full-fledged “Unbannable” marketing offense that included Super Bowl advertisements and a full-fledged takeover of the Chicago Bulls arena.

The public outcry to its limited nature was expected, but the good news is that the Jumpman is planning to unleash a second batch this Holiday season. An official release date has yet to be announced, but it is very probably that October 18th is what Jordan Brand has in mind for this wider drop. A new product SKU has also been uncovered, although the same $250 MSRP and Black/Varsity Red/White color spec is expected. Stay tuned to our Jordan Release Dates page for more updates.
