Back for the first time since 2017.

The Jordan Trunner LX Is Officially Returning In 2025

Jordan Brand’s first ever non-basketball sneaker is confirmed to return in 2025. The Jordan Trunner LX, a trainer/runner hybrid originally released in 2000, has tipped off its comeback by way of a “Luminous Green” colorway.

As with most mold-breaking Jordans, the Trunner LX owns a polarizing legacy. Some love it, some hate it, but no matter where you fall, there’s no denying the sneaker played a key role in the Jumpman’s expansion beyond hardwood. It’s got a distinctive design inspired partly by the Air Jordan 15, equipped with a mesh/synthetic upper featuring an exposed area around the ankle. The original Trunner LX was recalled due to a faulty piece of metal over the heel, but subsequent releases have all come with flexible silver/metallic material.

The Jordan Trunner LX has returned a handful of times since 2000, with its most recent run coming in 2017 (which gave us an unreleased Travis Scott sample). Given modern consumer interest in runners and Y2K-era footwear, the timing of the next Trunner LX stint seems more than appropriate. On top of Trunner LX colorways, JB is adding a new model called the Jordan Trunner O/S to the line come Fall/Winter 2025.

The Jordan Trunner LX “Luminous Green/Black” is expected to release late Summer/early Fall 2025 for $140 in men’s sizing. Scroll through official images below if you’re considering copping a pair.

Elsewhere on our Jordan Release Dates calendar, the Jordan 11 Low “Bred” drops soon.
