The Nike Pegasus Premium Surfaces In “Forrest Gump” Colors

Forrest Gump’s cross-country running times would have been far lower had the Nike Pegasus Premium been around. With three key running technologies and a lifestyle-friendly design to boot, the Pegasus Premium might be considered the most significant new sneaker of 2025 when it’s all said and done. This upcoming women’s colorway takes inspiration from Forrest Gump’s iconic red, white, and blue Nike Cortez, sure to be highly sought-after by diehard fans of the 1994 masterpiece.

Doing its best possible Cortez impression, the sneaker features a “Fire Red” Swoosh and “Light Photo Blue” sliver atop the midsole. The upper appears in crisp white, while “Sail” treatments add a pre-aged vibe to the rest of the lower half cushioning. Special “International Running Team” markings on the insoles round out the design, reminding us all of the scene where Gump’s supporters joined him on his run.

The Nike Pegasus Premium combines ZoomX, ReactX and full-length Air Zoom cushioning in one stroke, delivering top-tier comfort and performance. Several colorways have released since the model debuted in January 2025, but all have been produced in limited quantities (thus making them difficult to cop). This “Forrest Gump” edition will likely prove to be elusive as well, especially considering the movie’s large following.

The “Forrest Gump” Pegasus Premium for women doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as that changes. Expect the sneaker to drop through Nike and DICK’S for a shelf price of $210. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming Nikes.
