Original article published June 21st, 2025:

Deion Sanders’ shoes are seeing the prime time spotlight once more as Nike is set to bring back a beloved original from 1994.

Clad in a white, black, gold, and mystic teal color combination, this iconic throwback of the Air Diamond Turf maintains its OG identity with the patterned neoprene tongue, the iconic logo featuring a home plate and football uprights on the heel pull-tab, and the dual-sport badging on the tongue.

This isn’t the first re-issue of this classic; Nike dropped these most recently in 2017, with a 2010 drop happening before that. However, that specific version arrived when Deion’s partnership with Nike was not active, and therefore featured different logos on the tongue and the heel. It also did not feature the pattern on the tongue.

The Air Diamond Turf continues to be among the more coveted Retro models from the 1990s; recently, Nike dropped the “Ravens” iteration of the silhouette, while a special PE-style design was revealed for Deion Sanders Jr.. Sneaker News also confirmed that the Diamond Turf 2 will return in 2026.

Expect this original colorway of Deion Sanders’ shoes to hit SNKRS and Nike retailers this Fall season for $155.
