Updated September 16th, 2025: During a recent workout in NYC with basketball super-trainer Chris Brickley, Devin Booker may have been wearing the upcoming Nike Book 2 signature shoe. Although it’s impossible to tell, Booker had his feet blurred out for media purposes, strongly hinting that he was indeed wearing his upcoming sneaker. Currently, a release date for the Nike Book 2 is unconfirmed, and Nike does have more Book 1 colorways scheduled through November. Stay tuned for updates.
Devin Booker’s debut signature shoe one was one for the…books. Officially launching in late 2023 with a hyper-limited release exclusively at Art Basel in Miami, the Nike Book 1 has had a relatively atypical run for a debut signature shoe. With rather limited support on the brand side, the Book 1 drew consumer attraction off the strength of incredible Player Exclusives that the Suns superstar debuted on a near-weekly basis. Many of them eventually hit retail, like the Nike Book 1 “Neon 95” and even the “’96 All-Star” editions.
At long last, early details of the Nike Book 2 have surfaced. Once again adhering to a design that touches on the earlier eras of Swoosh hoops, the Book 2 appears to have a slightly higher cut than the Nike Book 1 based on these leaked catalog image via @prm.cotd. The new Devin Booker shoes will utilize a Cushlon 3.0 midsole, forefoot Zoom Air, herringbone-inspired outsole, and ZoomX sockliner/insole as its performance package. MSRP is expected to stay at $145.
The catalog images reveal a tan/black/light blue colorway with matching apparel, which is expected to launch in Spring 2026 as well. Sneaker Files reports that one of the earlier colorways will have an Air Zoom Spiridon inspiration in its original black/red/white/silver colorway.
Currently, there are no known images of the Book 2 shoes.

When is the Nike Book 2 releasing?
As of September 2025, the release date for the Nike Book 2 is still unconfirmed. Nike still has releases of the current Book 1 model scheduled throughout November. It is possible that the Nike Book 2 could release this Holiday ’25 of Spring ’26 season.
What does the Nike Book 2 look like?
Actual images of the Nike Book 2 have not yet been revealed, but the shoes are said to be inspired by the Zoom Spiridon and will have a higher cut as well as visible Air Max cushioning.
