First revealed by current Swoosh-affiliated it girl Veneda Carter during Paris Fashion Week, the Nike Total 90 Shox Magia is set for a grand return in the month of July.

At the time of its original release in 2003, the Total 90 Shox Magia was an unexpected, almost gimmicky crossover that blended the brand’s stunning football boot with the innovative Shox cushioning technology. Today, it’s a fortuitous blend of two key footwear trends in sports culture as it combines the footballcore aesthetic with the overt push for futuristic innovation in the Y2K era.

To present the classic model to the modern demographic, Nike partnered with women’s retailer Maha Amsterdam to portray the edgy nature of the silhouette through sport. Featuring a variety of athletes across a number of different dance concentrations such as breakdancing and ballet, the brand contextualizes the sneaker in its own counterintuitive manner to display its versatility as both an athletic shoe and a fashion piece. Part of the campaign includes India Sardjoe, an Olympic-level breakdancing athlete who is also a Nike athlete.

Two colorways are confirmed to launch: Metallic Silver/Black and Black/Metallic Silver. Both are pictured in the campaign imagery, although official Nike images are still not updated.

Nike confirms a July 5th, 2025 release date exclusively at Maha Amsterdam followed by a larger global drop on SNKRS on July 12th. MSRP is confirmed to be $180.
