No, This Nike Cortez “Black Denim” Is Not A Levi’s Collab

But maybe a consolidation prize?

No, This Nike Cortez “Black Denim” Is Not A Levi’s Collab

The Levi’s x Air Max 95 collab put the “jeakers” category front and center, but Nike doesn’t need a third party to experiment with denim. While it might not have the iconic red tag of the world’s most famous jeans brand, this Nike Cortez “Black Denim” stands out as a solid consolidation prize for those who missed out on the recent Levi’s trio.

Part of a mini pack alongside a recently-previewed light wash women’s colorway, these feature an all-black upper dressed in denim material from heel-to-toe. Black stitching is used to outline the Swoosh logos, and the “Nike” text on the tongue/heel appears in white. Underfoot, a black/white midsole and brown gum outsole round out the delivery. While these come with an all-denim upper, the aforementioned women’s pair notably features a variety of suede elements.

The Nike Cortez “Black Denim” retails for $100 and is due out during the Fall 2025 window, meaning before the end of September at the latest. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Nikes.
