A’ja Wilson’s Draft Day Fit Inspires This Nike A’One Release

The all-important draft day fit is something we’ve seen materialize time and again on signature sneakers, particularly when it comes to Nike Basketball. In 2018, A’ja Wilson popped out in a stunning pink jumpsuit before being selected #1 overall by the Las Vegas Aces. Now the owner of a HOF-caliber career and signature shoe with the Swoosh, A’ja’s draft day fit is the subject of this Nike A’One colorway launching in August.

Official images reveal different shades of pink on the shoe’s pearl-inspired upper, moving from dark to light as the layers expand. White patent leather on the Swoosh logos and eyelets ties in with A’ja’s draft day shoes, complemented by metallic pink on the branded elements and lateral midsole accent.

The Nike A’One “#1 Draft Pick” is due out August 8th in adult and GS sizes, priced at $115 and $90, respectively. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Nike Basketball shoes.

Sticking with the Beaverton brand, the Nike Ja 3 continues to surface in new colorways.
