Season 23 is loading for LeBron James, and he’s back in the lab in preparation of his incredible twenty-third season in the NBA. Alongside the journey is his newest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 23, and it appears that he and the Swoosh are in the final weartest stages for this milestone shoe release.
It’s a tradition of sorts of LeBron to debut his new model in an all-black colorway, mostly to shroud its appearance from the viewing public. However, we’ve got some clear shots of the silhouette thanks to a recently shared reel, so let’s take a closer look.
The Nike LeBron 23 once again sticks to a low-cut silhouette. Nike LeBrons have typically had a higher cut, but since the 20th model, he and Nike made the transition into the low-cut style. The tech specs for the LeBron 23 aren’t known, but as he sits atop the food chain of Nike Basketball signature shoes, there is likely a strong package that includes some iteration of Cushlon (likely the 3.0 generation) and Zoom Air.
Much like how the Air Jordan XXIII was significant to the Air Jordan legacy, so is the LeBron 23 to the all-time leading scorer. The oversized midsole is actually shaped like the crown logo and wraps aroud the entire shoe.
Not much else is known about the Nike LeBron 23, so stay tuned for updates; a release is expected late Fall and into Holiday 2025.
