If you’re keen on the slim, low-profile shoe trend, but prefer some edge over the standard options that are in the fold, look no further than what Puma has been and will continue to offer. The German sportswear brand has zeroed in on that demographic off the strength of its archival models, and they’re ready to unleash another piece from the vault to add some more depth to cultish fashion movement.
In comes the Talon, an early 2000s model that is arriving at just the right time. In keeping with the slim aesthetic and the sport-forward design, the Talon stands out for the exterior rubber shell that appears like sharp talons curling from beneath and gripping the upper of the shoe.
We first caught wind of its comeback when a collaboration with No Faith Studios emerged earlier in July; Sneaker News now uncovers four in-line styles that are beginning to hit retailers now.
In addition to the original lime green/black edition are three other two-toned options that are ready to round out the ‘fit. From baggy, parachute pants to cargos to tennis skirts, the Talon is a worthy entry for the re-established community of Mostro/Speedcat aficionados.
