The Nike Shox TL Lights Up In “Reflective” Ice Blue

A follow-up to its sister model.

The Nike Shox TL Lights Up In “Reflective” Ice Blue

Sometimes timing is everything. The Nike Shox TL and its peers have hit shelves in two waves in the past decade. The first came bridging the end of the decade and the start of the next, an endeavor that recieved somewhat lukewarm reception. Then the 2000s tech returned just a few years later, met with far warmer reactions as the pandemic accelerated backwards-looking fashion trends. All told, the Nike Shox family has picked up some serious steam in its renewed run on the shelves.

Along with the Shox R4, the Shox TL has been the strongest proponent of the piston-like heel technology. Ostensibly billed as men’s and women’s counterparts, it’s fitting that after we covered the Nike Shox R4 “Reflective,” the TL is just behind it with the same theme. Indeed, though the black and blue colorway seen at rest is a clean enough look on its face, the real intrigue begins under luminous conditions, lighting up in light blue for some eye-catching contrast to its nocturnal base.

The Nike Shox TL “Reflective” should hit shelves both retail and digital sometime in the near future. Be ready for a $190 retail price.
