A “Laser Motorsports” Sample Of The Jordan Dub Zero Appears

Even with some recent hits in the category like the Jordan Spizike Low, Jordan Flight Court, and Jordan Session, Jumpman hybrids remain as much of a hot button issue as ever. Towards the end of last year, we got an unexpected update out of that vertical, as a wave of Jordan Dub Zero colorways, a 2005 design that mashed up the AJ4, AJ6, and AJ11 among others, was on the docket for a bring-back.

We’ve yet to see the fruits of those announcements even as we creep towards their one-year anniversary, but another indication that this retro was, at least at one time, very much in the works now surfaces. As with many of its previous variations, the overtones of a few looks from its parent model loom large over this shoe, none more than the Air Jordan 6 “Motorsport” via the tumbled mudguard and simplistic black/white bocking. Of course, the intricate, meta-referential laser print remains a centerpiece branching from the collar to the bottom of the lace-stay.

In most cases, the fact that we’ve breezed past the sample tag’s “SP25” window would indicate that these will likely remain in the vault. Yet many of the most recent pairs that’ve had official images come about are still pending after ostensibly setting up for that same season. In the interest of those who have connection to the hybrid concoction, we’ll keep an eye out for any updates on this pair and the silhouette at large — you can do the same via our Jordan Releases 2025 hub. Otherwise, check out this potential “what could’ve been” pair via the in-hand shot below.
