Nike Explores The Jungles With A Snakeskin And Pony Hair Field General

Women's sizes release Holiday 2025.

Nike Explores The Jungles With A Snakeskin And Pony Hair Field General

We pegged the Nike Field General as an adidas Samba competitor upon its return early last year, and recent developments are further supporting that narrative. The ’80s turf shoe and adidas terrace classic have been going band-for-band in the realm of exotic patterns as of late, with snakeskin looks being the latest to grace our newswire. We spilled in on two snakeskin Sambas the other month, and now lo and behold, official images of a snakeskin Field General have cropped up on Nike’s backend server.

Truth be told, “snakeskin” alone doesn’t wholly describe the design at play. While a brown/tan snakeskin graphic indeed serves at the focal point, the base is actually cut from faux pony hair. The Swoosh, backtab, and tongue feature black leather, while metal eyelets add to the shoe’s somewhat premium appearance. Underfoot, light brown gum soles featuring turf tread round out the delivery.

The Nike Field General “Snakeskin” releases Holiday 2025 for $120 exclusively in women’s sizes; see official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming pairs by the Swoosh.
