Houston Rockets Color Adorn The Nike KD 18 “Wayne Pratt”

An ode to his father.

Houston Rockets Color Adorn The Nike KD 18 “Wayne Pratt”

Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 18 signature shoe is ready to enter a sentimental era as several colorways inspired by the women in his life are expected to release in October. The KD 18 “Aunt Pearl” continues the long-running tradition with pink florals, while the “B.A.D.” edition nods to Durant’s grandmother who passed away in early 2022. On the other side, this upcoming release honors Wayne Pratt, Durant’s father.

What makes the KD 18 “Wayne Pratt” so special is that the colorway is a near-perfect take on the jersey colors his newest team. Durant, who got traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets this off-season, will have no problem wearing this pair throughout the season as the white upper and red accents match the Texan colors down to a tee. The color combo stands strong on its own, but Wayne’s initials behind the tongue make these truly special.

A release date has not yet been confirmed, although we suspect a drop sometime in October or November for $155.
