Sneaker News If there was one ingredient missing from the newly launched Nike Ava Rover, it’s reflective paneling. While not billed as an outdoor trail shoe, the Ava Rover gives off that vibe through its gorp-core driven aesthetic for which a visibility aspect is key.
This Holiday season, the Swoosh will present this minor update on some new Ava Rover colorways like the Sequoia/Soft Yellow pictured here. While appearing like your standard pair, the high-visibility reflective overlay appears on the ankle collar, down the length of the tongue, and continues to the toe. It’s these minor hits that really change the nature of a sneaker, although with the Ava Rover, it allows it to be more of what it already is.
This new colorway of the silhouette is expected to launch this October on Nike.com and select retailers, so stay tuned for updates.
