First Look At The Atlanta-Inspired Air Jordan 11 “285”

The city of Atlanta has enjoyed increased prominence in the sneaker world in recent years — and Jordan Brand has played a key role. Now the official footwear sponsor for Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young, the Jumpman also boasts a strong partnership with James Whitner’s A Ma Maniére — one that sits firmly in the top tier of importance alongside Union, Fragment, and Travis Scott shoes.

Come Holiday 2025, Atlanta serves as the base for a key Air Jordan 11 release — one of three U.S. cities to receive a dedicated pair alongside Las Vegas and Houston. Dubbed the Jordan 11 “285,” the sneaker is named for and inspired by the interstate that encircles the city and, by extension, its vibrant culture. The sneaker is part of a whopping lineup of nine Jordan 11 releases for Holiday 2025/Spring 2026, celebrating the model’s milestone 30th anniversary.

All things considered, the sneaker does a fine job of balancing storytelling and wearability. Premium white tumbled leather encompasses the upper, complete with debossed Jumpman logos at the heel and a debossed “route” graphic across the top of the mudguard. A tie-dye sockliner featuring shades of pink, green, and dark blue nods to ATL’s many murals — something we’ve seen notably through Anthony Edwards’ shoes with adidas.

When does the Air Jordan 11 “285” release?

The Air Jordan 11 “285,” a.k.a. “Atlanta,” releases November 22nd, 2025, exclusively in-store at select retailers in North America. Budget for a $250 retail price if you’re set on adding this ATL-inspired pair to your rotation.
