While in the short-term, public attention will no doubt fixate on the run of region releases like the Jordan 11 “Mojave,” Jordan 11 “H-Town,” and Jordan 11 “285,” being geographically locked makes the wide launch of the “Gamma Blue” the most accessible version of the silhouette on the menu.
Divisive in its 2013 introduction, the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” pulls ’90s style contrast shades onto an otherwise nocturnal foundation, pinning its titular aqua onto the Jumpman brand, utilizing an adjacent, icy tone on the outsole, and sandwiching bright yellow in between, perhaps most impactful on the Air Jordan tongue text. For those who cherished that 2010s drop, certainly part of that attachment was its status as easily the closest thing to an all-black Air Jordan 11 that the hobby had seen to that point. Though the “Cap and Gown” would eventually take that title come 2018, the same general sleek prompt will be issued anew for consumers at the tail end of Q4.
The Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” touches down on December 13th, retailing for $230 in adult sizing. Full family sizing is also confirmed to drop alongside, though the exact pricing ladder hasn’t been revealed just yet.
