After a teaser dropped by the brand’s skate team rider Jimmy Gorecki, the BBC Ice Cream Board Flip is confirmed to make a monumental return at ComplexCon Las Vegas in several original colorways such as the Blue Raspberry and Juicy Pink.
In what is considered an official statement by both Gorecki and American artist Don Toliver, the Board Flip’s return comes with the blessing of Pharrell, the pioneering co-founder of the nostalgic street-wear brand. The shoes will be manufactured by Reebok.
As part of the 2005 launch of the Board Flip, BBC Ice Cream formed a street skate team that included mostly black skaters such as Terry Kennedy, Jacob Wilder, Kevin Brooker, and Cato Williams. Then a teen phenom, Jimmy Gorecki is also one of the nine original members of that team.
Further details regarding the BBC Ice Cream Board Flip’s release at ComplexCon Las Vegas is coming soon, but expect a release on October 25th during the two-day event.
