Amid a drama-filled offseason saga that saw Damian Lillard depart, Myles Turner take his place, and Giannis Antetokounmpo deliver some eyebrow-raising comments regarding his future with the Bucks, Milwaukee started the season in the win column.

Given that controversy that surrounded their preseason, there’s a decent chance that if the Bucks get off to a hot start, the basketball inteligencia could be staring incredously at the Bucks’ place in the standings in the coming months. For one, we already know that the Giannis Freak 7 is doing a “Double Take” with a neon-tinged colorway options that’s just hit the wire. Built on an everlasting white/black combo with “Volt” accents, it’s a “thread the needle” option between a colorway that’s been a staple on the shelves for decades and the high-flash you expect from hoops shoes. Interestingly, the most notable design cue might be hidden on foot, as a technologic smattering of GA logos paints the insoles.
