The Nike Basketball team has been leaning heavily on two-toned colorways, leveraging the design of the scratch-shaped TPU exterior above the mesh base layer. This arrangement has allowed the Ja 3 to be one of the most recognizable shoes on the court; even the drab “Sail” edition had no problems turning heads.
The Ja 3 “Daybreak” isn’t trying to be shy at all; it combines two bold blasts of orange–a lighter shade on the base and a more pungent hue on the exterior and bottoms–while light green paints the shoe-laces. Adding a soft touch is a hit of light glacier blue on Ja’s symbol on the tongue.
