Devin Booker Turns The Key On A Nike Book 1 Inspired By His 1996 Chevy Impala SS

It’s close to impossible to pick one favorite out of the library of Nike Book 1 Player Exclusives that have come to light over the last two years. That is, until these beauties rolled up to the meet.

Devin Booker just revealed a new design inspired by his 1996 Chevy Impala SS in an elegant Dark Cherry Metallic. It’s finished with a shiny glossy dark red patent leather exterior to mimic the perpetual fresh coat of wax that seems to cover his whips at all times. The iconic Impala logo is the real hit here, appearing at the forefoot in a silver/grey embroidery to match the flawless badge that sits at the trunk lid. Matching the emblem (as well as those gorgeous wheels) is a silver/grey Swoosh logo finished in a textured leather.

This PE sheds light on the growing camaraderie between Booker, a Detroit native, and the Chevrolet company. Earlier this year, the two conjured a collaboration with Nike to release special-edition colorways of the Book 1 signature shoe as well as the Blazer Low inspired by his collection of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer trucks.

With the debut of the Nike Book 2 expected Spring 2026, this Chevy Impala inspired PE is perhaps one of the last of his first signature shoe model. He’s currently wearing them during shootaround ahead of the Phoenix Suns’ match-up against the Los Angeles Clippers.
