We first got seeds of the Jordan MVP 92 all the way back in the fall of 2024. A year and change later, the model has become part of the fabric in the Nike, Inc. mainline, a more accessible variation on the base Air Jordan 7 composition during a time in which the Retro model is in something of a hibernation period, last visited with a kids’ exclusive “Cobalt Bliss” and not currently expected to see another until its full-fledged anniversary celebration in 2027.
The lack of earnest AJ7 colorways only adds to the potential appeal of the silhouette, the closest thing that devotees of Mike’s signature can pick up for the moment. Only adding to that is the fact that the Jordan MVP 92 has begun to dabble in colorways its parent model has already forged through, including the “Pure Money” at hand. An established theme within the catalog through additional models like the Jordan 3 and Jordan 4, it remains tough to quibble with this “Triple White” formulation; this pair faithfully keeps to that monochromatic script in a way that the grey panelling of the 2017 colorway diverged from.
Expect the Jordan MVP 92 “Pure Money” to populate Nike.com and retailer shelves in the coming months, commanding a $145 retail price. Watch our Jordan Release Dates hub for more on this pair and all the brand has in store.
