Over the years, the Air Jordan 1 has taken to innumerable spin-off veins over the past 40 years, and we got an early look at one of its more attention-grabbing such efforts at a seasonal preview this fall. The era of the Air Jordan 1 Low Element Gore-Tex officially began a few weeks after, yet Beaverton continues to pump out fresh editions of the rugged overhaul.
Bearing genuine trail traction by way of lugged outsoles that extend onto the heel and toe, you can make the argument that these are the most full-throated shift into the hiking world the AJ1 has ever seen. Various added pull-tabs, a chunkier sole unit, and Gore-Tex weatherproofing only bolster that claim, while obviously maintaining the DNA of Mike’s first signature throughout. The “Light Lemon Twist” colorway at hand diverges from either one, however, draped head to toe in attention-grabbing shades for a more expressive palette than typically seen on the hardwood icon and less earthy tonality than you’d expect from earnest outdoorswear.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Low Element Gore-Tex “Light Lemon Twist” to touch down for Spring 2026, retailing at $205. We’ll keep you in the loop with any additional updates via our Jordan Release Dates hub.
