It’s hard to overstate how big a story the divorce between Steph Curry and Under Armour is. Simply put, a player of his caliber, with his resume and overall stature, has never hit footwear free agency in the modern era. Since the brand’s official announcement, our corner of the world has understandably focused on what #30 has worn in the tunnel and on the hardwood, making tangible the hypotheticals that ran rampant through his UA tenure.
With those moments taking precedence on social media, it’s easy to forget that the Baltimore brand still has product in the chamber, now taking center stage as the UA Curry 13 comes to light. Already announced by both parties as the final chapter in their historic run, the model immediately marks a massive break in design principles that have dominated the lineage, offering a more playful, animated continuation of the jagged geometry of the Curry Series 7.
Compositionally, the standout feature is a three-piece midsole, maintaining Flow cushioning and traction that’s become a defining feature of UA Curry’s last act. “Splashes” of curvilinear extensions into the upper aim at containment, while a fabric upper carries teardrop cutouts that reveal a mesh foundation underneath.
For this initial delivery, the Under Armour Curry 13 focuses on flooded, monochromatic looks, coated in bright yellow, dark pink, and baby blue. The fourth of this set breaks from that with a fiery overall profile, stacking layers of red, orange, and black in horizontal stripes.
Jumping back to that UA press release announcing the split gives us some insight into the plans for this shoe: “UA will release the Curry 13 – the final Curry Brand x Under Armour shoe – in February 2026 as planned, with additional colorways and apparel collections available through October 2026.” Given the impending end of the contract, the shoe may hit retail outlets sooner. We’ll keep you updated as the shoes start to trickle out earnestly via this page and our Sneaker Release Dates hub, but in the meantime, catch some detailed shots below.
