Sneaker News Jordan Brand’s Retro category is running on all cylinders. It’s 2025 output was one for the ages, delivering an unbeatable assortment of original colorways, classic Retros, and hyped collaborations, and their 2026 Jordan releases are looking just as promising. Despite those needle-moving drops, the Jumpman is experiencing a thinning audience thanks to the emergence of the comfort-forward tech runner category; many have tossed the bulky, relatively uncomfortable Retro models and mid-top silhouettes for low-cut running shoes offered by ASICS and New Balance. To battle that conversion, Jordan Brand has relaunched its Trunner category, unveiling the Jordan Trunner O/S with a very approachable $115 price-point. They’re looking to make the entry point even bigger with the Jordan Trunner Flow.
The Jordan Trunner Flow, revealed here in two upcoming colorways, appears like astripped-down version of the Trunner O/S. There is no mid-foot cage-like cuff, the midsole mold is less edgier, and the upper built is a simple mix of synthetic leather and mesh. At the mid-foot are thick ridges of embroidery. while the exterior heel boasts a futuristic Jordan nameplate. The design is reminiscent of the late-1990’s era of Jordan footwear, right around the genesis of the Trunner line.
As mentioned earlier, the Trunner O/S has an impressive $115 MSRP. The Trunner Flow is offered at around $85. The goal: offer a casual, comfortable, and sleek new design at an approachable price-point that has been dominated by running-focused brands.
