Sneaker News After a first look dropped way back in January of 2025, Ye finally dropped his BL-01 sneaker on YEEZY.com on Christmas Day. Following his commitment to keeping prices low and affordable, this retro runner in black is available for $80 on YEEZY.com.
Described as a lightweight low-top slip-on sneaker, the BL-01 clearly takes after the 1980s/1990s era of retro running footwear. It features a fully rubber outsole with an upper design built out of 100% synthetic textile materials. The midsole is 100% foam, promising a level of comfort comparable to other full-length Foam runners in the $90-120 price-point.
As it stands, this is the only colorway of the new Yeezy shoes, but if we’re to expect anything similar to what has been produced for the Yeezy Slides, it’s possible that the BL-01 will be available in more colorways.
