The Air Jordan 7 Is Confirmed To Return In 2026

The Air Jordan 7 will soon see its first earnest push in nearly three years. Sneaker leak source @zsneakerheadz reports that multiple styles are in the works for 2026.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan 7 originally released in 1992 and coincided with Michael Jordan’s second NBA championship and third MVP award. The sneaker also aligned with the formation of the “Dream Team” at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, with one of the shoe’s five original colorways being an “Olympic” look to match Mike’s Team USA jersey. The model’s first retro run arrived ten years later in 2002, followed by several others since.

The last real Air Jordan 7 push ended in 2023, although Jordan Brand did give us a random one-off kid’s release in October of 2024. Two styles are now confirmed for 2026, one slated for June and another for September. It remains to be seen whether these sneakers will be new colorways or retros of past styles, although most Jordan retro runs typically include a mix of both. The Air Jordan 7 will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2027, so it’s possible Jordan Brand is gearing up for a milestone year similar to what it did with the Jordan 5 in 2025.

Again, the Air Jordan 7 is confirmed to return in multiple styles in 2026. Keep our Jordan Release Dates page handy for more info as we keep our ears open for specifics.
