The Air Jordan 1 wasn’t in short supply by any means in 2025, but it did (anecdotally) feel as if the silhouette’s descent from being Jordan Brand’s most coveted asset finally began to bear out on the release calendar last year. In many ways, that’s fantastic news for the silhouette’s true devotees, now given ample space to seek out new chapters in its storied history, with the “Medium Olive” formula at hand a particular point of intrigue. Though perhaps dismissed as a pair of “Travis Scott shoes at home,” the earthy embrace splayed out on this shoe speaks to the timeless style of the model as a whole. “Chicago” blocking and a complementary palette will never be a losing formula, and the continued rollout of the Big Swoosh adds an extra layer for the detail-oriented.
