Andrew Rizzo Updated March 11th, 2026: In case you missed it, Chicago Bulls Hall-of-Famer Scott Pippen recently announced an auction featuring tons of memorabilia from his career. All Scott Pippen Collection lots have now sold, fetching a total of $6.2 million.
Included in that figure are two record-breaking sales. Larry Bird’s game-worn and signed jersey from the “Dream Team” earned a total of 74 bids and ultimately sold for $896,000, a new auction record for Larry Bird memorabilia. Scottie’s game-worn and signed jersey from Jordan’s “Flu Game” in 1997 sold for $486,400, a record for Scottie Pippen memorabilia.
As for the sneakers, Michael Jordan’s game-worn “Olympic” 7s, given to Pippen by Jordan after the 1992 gold medal game, wound up going for $640,000. That actually seems quite low given the historical significance of the Dream Team and precedent set by other game-worn Jordan sales.
Nearly 1,500 visitors came through Sotheby’s New York exhibition, and 475 registered auction participants placed a total of 2,567 bids (an average of 36 per lot).

Scottie Pippen is cracking open the vault. The NBA Hall of Famer and Robin to Michael Jordan’s Batman during the Chicago Bulls dynasty is auctioning off a ton of memorabilia from his professional and collegiate career, including sneakers tied to some of his most defining moments.
The collection is truly something to behold. First and foremost is Scottie’s trophy case: his 1994 All-Star Game MVP award, Hall of Fame trophy, and all six personal NBA championship trophies gifted by Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf. From there, the auction spans an extensive range of signed memorabilia, including apparel, basketballs, and even Wheaties cereal boxes, tied to key moments with the Bulls, Team USA, All-Star teams, and his college days. Our focus, as always, lies with the sneakers.

Two of the three sneakers are tied to the legendary Dream Team, which dominated the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air Flight Lite and Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 7 from the Gold Medal game are both available with estimates upon request, each game-worn and signed by their respective owners. Rounding things out is Scottie’s game-worn and signed Air Maestro II from the 1994 All-Star Game, where he earned MVP honors by leading the East to victory with a double-double.
