Much as Bucks fans are tired of the same old narrative, there’s still a palpable chance that this off-season is one of extreme change for Milwaukee. After an on-again, off-again saga of trade rumors around the deadline and mixed signals from Mr. Antetokounmpo himself, many league insiders point to the long-awaited “Giannis trade” being live once again this summer.

With ongoing disagreements between he and the Bucks brass on whether he should suit up again, we may have already seen the last of Giannis in green and white. On a similar note but one with far more certainty, the Nike Giannis Freak 7 absolutely has its days numbered. With the follow-up already revealed in the Giannis Freak 8, there’s only a few opportunities left for the 7th chapter to pen its legacy. A “Light Aqua” colorway that’s just hit the net mixes up several dueling aesthetics. The titular shade dominates the real estate here, including on a marbled outsole unit that appears camo-like. On the other hand, a gradient Swoosh in red and blue leans into more traditionally sporty themes we so often see on “Team Bank” pairs.

This Nike Giannis Freak 7 “Light Aqua” should be touching down on April 1st, retailing for the model’s usual $115.
