Though lacking one of the core components, there’s good reason for the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “College Grey” to make that shift. It’s clearly a play to add a more refined air to the everyday icon, further lending that same choice to the overlays and Swoosh. Paired with a comprehensive grey colorway (though differing in the various saturations and shades), it’s an ultimate dad shoe nonetheless, even if tackling that aesthetic from a different angle than usual.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “College Grey/Cave Stone” is available now, retailing for $180, a slight premium given the new material touches.
