Don’t look now, but the CFB season is almost back. As we slip into the rhythms of early Saturday wake-ups and bookmark the committee rankings, Crocs is teaming up with the NCAA for a college football capsule aimed at bringing easy-on comfort to your game day rituals.
Ten of the country’s true blue blood schools, including the winners of all but two championships in the CFP era, are represented in this capsule. Interestingly, the Colorado company reaches for their “Crocsband” silhouette instead of the standard Classic Clog. Though the tooling overall isn’t much different than the typical mules you’d find on shelves, a stripe through the sole unit distinguishes these in the catalog and serves here to bring a more sporty atmosphere to each pair.
To that end, the full roster for this team-up includes the Michigan Wolverines, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Texas Longhorns, Kentucky Wildcats, UNC Tar Heels, LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Miami Hurricanes. Each one is plastered heel to toe in team coloring, while also paying specific attention to school mottos, emblems, and imagery in their set of Jibbitz. To make clear their purpose, all ten pairs come with throwback collegiate cursive on two plates on the lateral sides.
The Crocs x NCAA College Football collection releases on August 25th, with all ten pairs retailing at $75. We’ll have direct pick-up links included in the individual “Where to Buy” sections below upon arrival.
