A true classic, the Nike Air Max Plus has rendered its upper a number of ways in the past few months. But unlike those previous few, this pair reminds of a time where overbranding was the brand’s preferred choice of execution.
The majority of the upper, however, is kept rather clean, its mesh dressed down in near full white. Its cages follow suit like the laces and tongue, while the eye stays add light Volt neons in complement to the tooling and Air unit. And though the Swoosh and adjacent logos are pronounced in their respective shades, all three are but a drop in the hat next to the mudguard’s graphic, which displays Nike’s extensive library of iconography.
