This year, Jordan really did their sponsored schools a service, offering them some of the best PEs the brand has crafted in a long while. And among the extensive collection of Air Jordan 5s, Marquette’s may be the best of them all.
Revealed in better detail courtesy of @englishsole, the pair appropriately follows the design language of its rival schools. The textured leathers retain their subtle elephant texture, though this time hued a deep blue shade. Adjacent, the tongue’s suede finish dresses a lighter cool-toned variation, one that better supports the embroidered “MU” logo over top. Adjacent, gilded accents — such as the lining, midsole teeth, and lace toggle — then complete the nod to the Golden Eagles.
