The Nike Air Force 1 — more than any other silhouette — frequently mirrors current trends. And as workwear continues to grow in prevalence, the associated earth tones are also rising in value. So, in response, the brand is offering up the aforementioned in a simple, somewhat vintage-inspired “Dark Chocolate” colorway.
Along the pair’s exterior, the titular color displays in full, dressing near everything from the forefoot to the rear. Even the laces, lining, and tongue opt to complement, though each prefers a shade just a few notches lighter. The Swoosh and heel tab adjacent go against the grain in more ways than one, both making use of white neutrals and perforated leathers. Below, the tooling more or less follows suit, toning down a darkened gum bottom with brighter midsoles.
