As a brand that has gradually been embracing a diverse audience, Nike demonstrates themes such as peace and harmony throughout its footwear. Releases such as the “Peace, Love, and Basketball” pack, which featured silhouettes such as the Nike Air More Uptempo, have exhibited cheery designs that promote positivity. The feel-good styles continue with an upcoming Air Force 1 that has a hidden symbol of unity.
The pair sports an all-black build that is animated by vibrant hues throughout. This wholly suede model sees branding on the heel tab and an embroidered side Swoosh outline in yellow. The inside of the Swoosh outline seems to be fully embroidered as well, introducing a unique texture to the mix. Aside from the suede uppers and the embroidery, the midpanels and tongue demonstrate yet another texture, specifically a textile weave. In addition, the tongue uses sky blue branding and piping to further the multicolor theme. More colors can be found on the sockliner, which opts for a bright teal, and the orange AIR logo on midsole. All the aforementioned hues are applied to the insole, as they are used for a graphic that features two arms holding hands—a sign of unity. To round out the look, the outsole ditches the all-black look for a split between blue and orange.
