Undoubtedly at the bleeding edge, Nike’s newest G.T. (Greater Than) series tackles basketball in ways the brand has yet to attempt. Introduced earlier this year, the pack proffers not one but three different performance solutions — the Zoom G.T. Run seen here tasked with bettering both energy return and running economy. Today, the silhouette is back in the spotlight, following up a rather lackluster colorway with “Team USA” themes.
Unveiled only a couple weeks prior to the Tokyo Olympics, the pair represents its home country with nods to the red, white, and blue. Each shade can be found along the upper, the bolder of the three used atop both the upper and lace unit. Pops of a dark navy blue, then, dress throughout, detailing the collar, heel pull, and the forefoot’s ripple-like pattern. Moreover, the aforementioned neutral rounds out the scheme through the exterior Swoosh, adjacent branding, and the speckled midsole.
For a closer look at this USA-inspired offering, see the official images below. It’s likely we’ll see a release on Nike.com and select retailers this July.
In other basketball news, the Nike Zoom Freak 3 is nearly here.
