Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known professionally as Bad Bunny, isn’t the typical superstar. After an incredible run of accolades, which includes releasing three platinum-certified albums between 2019 and 2020, he decided to disconnect from the world, reducing his social media usage, not touring and doing fewer interviews. On December 10th, the 27-year-old held his first concert in over two years. Titled “P FKN R,” the show was held in @sanbenito’s native Puerto Rico. To celebrate the occasion, Ocasio and his team put together a “museum” chronicling the artist’s professional career.
Alongside recreated music video sets and outfits that’ve gone viral on social media, Bad Bunny showcased an unreleased colorway of his highly-sought-out adidas Forum collaboration. Included as part of the exhibit’s section dedicated to “El Último Tour Del Mundo,” the album that launched on November 27th, 2020 when the world might’ve looked grimmer than it had previously, the sneakers don a similar coffee-inspired brown color palette as the pair that debuted the Puerto Rican reggaetonero’s partnership with the Three Strips. Fan-taken images don’t deliver the highest-quality look at the shoes, but quick inspection reveal several of the design details that ended up on the adidas Originals style that arrived to retailers on March 17th. Reddish brown and pinkish tones seem to appear on what might be an early sample of the partnership’s first pair, suggesting future releases from Bad Bunny and the German sportswear behemoth may include disparate color-blocking. After all, the 27-year-old has proven time and time again that his fashion knows no boundaries.
