Thanks to sneaker leakers, it was revealed this past week that Concepts was working on a collaborative Nike Air Max 1. And it wasn’t just one colorway that was revealed; a second very quickly surfaced following the first, each rife with their own share of patterns and colors. And to make things even more exciting, Deon Point himself recently shared a third and likely final pair.
The simplest of the bunch, this iteration forgoes the use of camo and lessens the bandana print. In their place, a ripstop outfits the mudguard, its surface finished in a light olive similar to that which is found in military surplus. Adjacent, a lightwash denim wraps the toe as well as the profile, while the vamp and lace unit add luxurious pops of faux cow fur and red velvet, respectively. Across the back heel, a subtle hit of paisley does take the stage, though its blends in with the graphic-heavy hits at the collar and Swoosh.
