Ye’s publicized criticisms of the Three Stripes have led many to believe that his departure is just around the corner. adidas Yeezy has showed no signs of slowing down, however, as new releases, such as the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “MX Grey,” are continuing to surface.
The “MX” pattern has been around for some time, appearing across the Yeezy Slide, the Foam Runner, and the above-mentioned 350 v2. But compared to its counterparts, the latter’s application of said motif is quite different, as it’s integrated in the silhouette’s Primeknit weave. Here, this upper is rendered entirely in neutral shades, which come together to create a marble-like textile. Stripes, in contrast, opt for a solid grey just like the marginally lighter laces, lining, and sole unit.

In other news, the Yeezy Foam Runner Sand is restocking at select retailers this Saturday.
